SuperServer with Intel Pentium Dual Core CPU

So what hardware is packed into our 1U rackmount Factor411 SuperServer, which we provide for free? For starters, we install a high horsepower Intel Pentium Dual Core CPU, which can multi-task like there's no tomorrow and easily handle the web serving, database and CRM System workloads.

The motherboard is important, so we selected the best. Plenty of memory is also part of the package, so we provide 2GB of dual-channel, high-speed DDR2-667. We also gave consideration to data security and storage capacity, so there are dual 250GB SATA-II hard drives with 8GB buffered memory, which are mirrored as RAID 1 for redundancy. A server is no good without proper network support, and that is taken care of with dual Gigabit LAN ports. Plus a rail kit is provided for easy installation.

Additional System Information

The Factor411 SuperServer has Windows Server 2003 installed, and Microsoft IIS is configured. Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 is installed.

1. You must assign an IP address, once the server is placed in your network.

2. You will also need to configure your firewall to allow port 80 web access for the assigned public IP address.

3. To protect the server from power surges and power failure, it must be connected to an un uninterruptible power supply (UPS) that you provide.

4. The server will need to communicate with your factoring database, which we will help you configure.

5. Three views will need to be created in your factoring database by copying and pasting the SQL queries provided.

6. FactorSoft Desktop Service must be installed and running to process daily activities.

7. Certain FactorSoft System Preferences must be enabled and properly configured.

Beyond that, there is nothing you need to do on an ongoing basis, since we will maintain the server and software remotely.
